Very small..only thing that is big is the pool..locker room is decent..& always seems empty with only one or two staff working
Great value! There's something for everyone here - a good amount of machines, lots of choices for classes and lessons at all times of the day for various age groups, and tons of kid's programming! It does get crowded at times and some classes require sign-up in advance, but these are minor issues when you consider what you get for your money.
Not a good selection for adults seeking a workout spot. Hours are optimized for the staff; closes @ 3PM in the summer and other times of the year when you quite typically might want to work out!
So...lots of updates since these 2 posts- the Y at 863 Great Plain Ave is the pool site (4 lanes 25 yards) with lap and family times and it's open until 9:30 PM! It also has a fantastic group cycle studio and group exercise studio- totally renovated with awesome classes- check it out!
Great place for group work outs- Lourdes's Barre class is outstanding as is Steve's Ross's spinning class. We are lucky to have this in our neighborhood
