Super friendly service. They always have ANYTHING I'm looking for, whether it's a new slow cooker or a light bulb. Truly a neighborhood hardware store.
You walk in and are immediately greeted by a person who asks you what you're looking for -- then they take you right to it. What would take me 20 minutes (not to mention driving) at Home Depot takes under a minute here.
Love this store. Great customer service. Every question gets answered and I always find what I need (with someone's assistance)
My boyfriend and I are new to the area. We were referred to Harvey's for our hardware store needs. We were really happy to give our business to a local business. Before work one day, my boyfriend went into Harvey's, was met with a smile, and he opened an account. maybe two months later while working on our house, he needed something from the hardware store - and instead of throwing on a button down shirt and pants, he went to the store in what he already had on, the t-shirt and shorts he'd been working on the house in. In this outfit you could see that he has some tattoos. He said the demeanor of the staff was completely different from this day forward, and he feels certain the attitude change is due to the exposure of his (very nice, professionally done) tattoos. I won't go to Harvey's again. My boyfriend now only goes on rare occasion. Weird that a hardware store would even care about such things but welcome to Needham Square I guess.

How they always have everything is unreal. Perhaps a little too helpful on the floor staff though, sometime I would like to wonder the aisles without being asked 15 times if I need help.
